Course Description

Visual Communication course focuses on the visual as well as written aspects of public communication and media. The course requires students to study the production as well as the post-production processes followed by film and media outlets and trains them on the use of various image and video editing software, animation software as well as on the development of writing and other communication skills.

Visual Communication is a field that concerns itself with the best use of visual aids to present an idea to the audience. It may be in the form of an image, symbol, signal, video, or even text, it is one of the most common means of communication in today's world. Majorly used in the field of marketing and advertising, visual communication has become an essential part of most of the industries of the present day and sits at the core of many industries such as Ad Agencies, Print Media, Television, Film Industry, Web-Based Services, and Applications, etc.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria to apply for Bachelor of Visual Communication programme are as follows -
Candidates should have cleared their class 12 board examination in any stream from a recognised board of education such as CBSE, ICSE or equivalent state education board.
They must also have secured a minimum aggregate score of 45% in the qualifying examinations
